We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with your friends and families! We want to thank you all for the amazing work you’ve done with the Jimmy Sumas Meal Bag program these last 25 days.
Because of your efforts, you are going to be able to provide 17,283 meals to those in need this holiday season! These bags will start going out to food banks (City Harvest, Community Food Bank of NJ, Towson Association of Churches, Chester Food Pantry, NORWESCAP, Westchester Food Bank, and Lehigh Valley Food Bank) next week. Please refer to CORE task about wrap up, taking down signage and reporting on the total amount of bags you had leftover in store going direct to the food pantries.
- We had 17 of our 37 stores hit their goals, and they helped pull the Village team over our 15,000 meal goal!
- Shoutout to 74th St Fairway (store #182) who crushed their goal and took the top Village spot this year.
- Amazing job to our stores with super high goals who crushed those too!
