The ShopRite of Stirling was once again a top earning store for our Partners in Caring hunger fighting campaign, held annually during National Hunger Action Month (September). Store manager Michelle Mares and associate Colleen Pagano, were honored during a special unveiling ceremony of their photo on a Cheerios boxTM to commemorate the store’s fund raising efforts. In addition to the unveiling, the food pantry at All Saints Episcopal Church in Millington, NJ was gifted $500 as a local beneficiary of the store. Way to go ShopRite of Stirling!
ShopRite of Stirling is proud to participate in the Village Food Rescue Program. This program salvages food from our store that is safe for consumption but is ineligible for retail sale. Last year, we were able to donate over 1,100,000 pounds of food to local food pantries to help address their critical needs for fresh and healthy foods.
