COMMUNITY HAPPENINGS

In celebration of our re-grand opening of our Livingston store, the Sumas Family Foundation awarded the West Essex YMCA with a You Choose. We Give. Microgrant for $5,000. This non-profit organization, located right down the street, was nominated by one of our Livingston store associates. Alisa Laudicina from the YMCA was present to accept the award along with members of the Sumas Family and the store team.

Last year, Village Food Rescue donated over 1,100,000 Pounds of food to local food pantries

ShopRite of Livingston is proud to participate in the Village Food Rescue Program. This program salvages food from our store that is safe for consumption but is ineligible for retail sale. Last year, we were able to donate over 1,100,000 pounds of food to local food pantries to help address their critical needs for fresh and healthy foods.
