ShopRite of Chester
Chester Featured Story
Village Super Market stores came together with Autism Speaks for the sixth year to support funding and research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism. This year customers in 29 stores had the opportunity to donate at the register, purchase T-shirts and wristbands, and participate in store fundraising events. The combination of these events in all stores raised an amazing $80,000 for the cause, with ShopRite of Chester leading store fundraising efforts with $9,700 raised. In recognition of this accomplishment, Chester associates were able to present our fundraising check to Autism Speaks representatives. Together, Village Super Market and Autism Speaks seek to increase awareness of autism and advocate for needs of individuals with autism, as well as their families and caregivers.
