ShopRite of Chester was proud to be the site of the first stop of the Help Pantene Help Kids tour, welcoming campaign ambassador and former New York Giant Tiki Barber to kick off the event! ShopRite once again partnered with P&G and Pantene® to offer customers and associates the opportunity to visit their pop-up styling station at 40 stores (including seven Village ShopRites) and donate their hair to Locks of Love. The event was a success, with seven customers and associates donating their hair to children suffering from medical hair loss. Additionally, Pantene® donated $50 per cut (up to $11,000). “The ShopRite of Chester is proud to help children in need by supporting the Help Pantene Help Kids Tour that benefits Locks of Love in their work improving the lives of children with cancer or other illnesses,” said Perry Blatt, director of marketing and business development for Village Super Market, Inc. “I also commend our associates and shoppers that are taking part in this special event that is bringing our community together to help this incredible cause.”
ShopRite of Chester is proud to participate in the Village Food Rescue Program. This program salvages food from our store that is safe for consumption but is ineligible for retail sale. Last year, we were able to donate over 1,100,000 pounds of food to local food pantries to help address their critical needs for fresh and healthy foods.
