Fill a Glass with Hope
June is National Dairy Month, and each year to celebrate, Village ShopRite stores participate in Fill a Glass with Hope. We encourage our shoppers to donate at checkout to help support children and families in need.
The event supplies a nationwide network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs with highly requested milk.
To date, Fill a Glass with Hope has delivered more than 1.9 million gallons to those in need, providing more than 30 million servings of milk.
Village continue to increase our local fresh fluid milk donations each year, and in 2019 were able to donate over 20,000 gallons to NORWESCAP, Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley, Community Food Bank of NJ, Maryland Food Bank, and Rainbow Food Pantry.
