During this unprecedented time, we not only want to do our part as an essential service to the community but expand our efforts to feed those healthcare heroes on the front line. We’re raising money at all of our Village Super Market ShopRite and Gourmet Garage locations to expand the current efforts of the Sumas Family, as they feed local Emergency Room staff. To meet this goal, we created a program called Heroes Feeding Heroes. We utilize the funds collected to purchase meals from local restaurants who also need a little support right now. Many of our customers may be wishing they could do more to help during this national crisis, so we’re giving them a way to do it.
Customers will have the opportunity to make a $1, $3, or $5 donation at check-out registers or donate online below. These contributions will go directly to local restaurants, who will deliver the food that will help nourish our doctors, nurses, and hospital workers selflessly caring for our community.
